A small simple thing. Interview by Barbara Sibbald. 1998

L Tulloch

Lori Tulloch caters to the migrating men of the morning who rove from one dumpster to the next searching for bottles, food, whatever. Her Whitehorse, Yukon clinic is deliberately on their route, in a cramped room of an aging downtown hotel, and they stop by for a little snack, warm socks, needle exchange, advice or maybe just a kind word. Other clients on social assistance wander down the hall of the Chilkoot Trail Inn to her clinic, or they come in off the street. Word is out and Tulloch is busy.
