When the Visiting Nurse Association of Central Illinois staff began to investigate Medicare Hospice Benefit Certification, they had to start from scratch. In this first-person account, they share their experience and valuable informational shortcuts to help others streamline their process and assure adequate preparation for the certification survey and subsequent operation.
