Community responsibility ain't easy. 1980

R R Cadmus

Although the confrontation politics of the '60s have mellowed, hospitals shouldn't be lulled into thinking that they have met all their community responsibilities. Hospitals can respond to their communities by, among other things, including community representatives on their boards, communicating with as many groups as possible, and seeking to reduce fragmentation and increase comprehensiveness of care.
