This inservice is a guide to planning and conducting equipment inservices. Whether the circumstances involve a new piece of equipment, a new employee who is unfamiliar with present equipment, an institutional or regulatory requirement, are often needed. Advanced planning for the content and presentation will yield a more organized inservice. The information in this article will help the presenter with planning. Since advance notice is not always possible when inservices are needed, tips for spur-of-the-moment presentation are also offered.
