STD legislation in Ukraine: legal and ethical issues and the implications for HIV/AIDS. 1999

Dr. Buromensky identifies the principal laws and regulations in Ukraine that pertain to individuals with sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), situates those instruments in the larger context of Ukrainian law generally, and discusses the impact these measures have, in this context, on individuals with HIV/AIDS and other STDs. In doing so, he focuses especially on issues of confidentiality, privacy and discrimination.
