The history of the equipment of the laboratories of the chair of pathology began with 2 monoocular microscopes mounted in 1849. Nowadays it is equipped with modern facilities including a confocal laser scanning microscope. Leading position of the chair in research, practice and education is largely due to renewal of technical facilities of its laboratories.
