Reasons for the cooperative effects in the haemoglobin case. 2000

The cooperative question in haemoglobin is faced, and the use of an analogy to an electronic circuit is hypothesized. On this basis, the Hb-oxygen uptake and release mechanism is discussed, and a new explanation of the cooperative effect is proposed.
