Prazosin in the treatment of hypertension. 1975

H Adriaensen, and R Vryens

In two double-blind, randomized cross-over comparison studies undertaken in elderly subjects, a new quinazoline derivative, prazosin, has been shown to be a safe and effective antihypertensive agent to which there is a progressive response over four- to six-week periods of oral administration at fixed dose-levels.
