N A Iaitskiĭ, and T A Moshkova

Based on an analysis of treatment of 293 patients with carcinoma of the colon complicated by the inflammatory process and perforation the data are presented concerning the frequency, causes of appearance, differences in clinical manifestations and strategy of treatment depending on the degree of the inflammatory-destructive process. The differentiated approach to treatment for different forms of inflammatory complications allowed lethality to be decreased to 13%.
