Intracranial subarachnoid pressure monitoring in children. 1975

H E James, and L Bruno, and L Schut

A technique for subarachnoid monitoring of intracranial pressure in children is presented. This is based on a subarachnoid bolt that can be inserted under local anesthesia. The advantages of continuous recording of intracranial pressure in certain conditions such as encephalitis, diffuse encephalopaties, and Reye's syndrome are discussed.
