Medical treatment of traumatic hyphema. 1975

Evaluation and treatment of traumatic hyphema uncomplicated by perforation or dissolution of the ocular coats, and the goals of immediate and late treament, are discussed. Results of the author's series of 301 cases are compared to results of other series. The prognosis depends greatly on the size of the hyphema and the immediacy of treatment.
