[End-to-end venous graft in cases of femoro-popliteal obstruction]. 1975

P Pietri, and G Alagni

A series of 112 cases of direct femoropopliteal revascularisation is presented, along with a new method and a description of its somewhat limited indications. The advantages and disadvantages of direct venous graft as opposed to the conventional by-pass are explained. If used in accordance with its specific indications, however, the new method offers results that are fully comparable with those obtained by a by-pass.
