[Difficulties in the diagnostic of endobronchial foreign bodies (author's transl)]. 1975

W Scheel

Diagnostic Difficulties in 27 cases of inhaled or swallowed foreign bodies are critically reviewed. Possible sources of diagnostic errors are emphasized. 25 foreign bodies were removed by endoscopical procedures. 1 fatal case concerning an eight months' old child is described in extenso. One foreign body localized in the upper esophagus and causing the symptoms of tracheal stenosis was removed by esophagotomy.
