OBJECTIVE To study the surgical management of epiglottic dysfunction caused by neck trauma. METHODS 3 patients underwent operation as To lift the larynx 0.5-0.8 mm and advance the upper part of the larynx 0.6-0.8 mm. RESULTS No aspiration occurred after operation in 0.5-2 years. CONCLUSIONS This treatment may be considerable for the patients with the epiglottic dysfunction.
