Vicente Moya Pueyo

The Medical Education of the Medical Faculty in the Complutense University of Madrid is analyzed since its double origin: The Cardinal Cisneros Constitutions, January 22-1510 and the Royal Cédula of King Charles III, February 24-1787, in which is created the Royal College of Surgery Saint Charles in Madrid. The Medical science was divided in independent subjects of study which programs were modified by the professors and brought up to date frequently. From 1972 clinical training was widen by subscription of agreements with five main hospitals which facilities are used and the personal cooperate in medical education. Since 1993 plan, as in 2000 plan, deep modifications were implemented as an increase of the clinical practice which extent was larger than the theory.
