This paper studied a new method for the determination of trace Pb in foods by hydride generation-atomic absorption spectrometry. This method is simple and rapid. Compared with the flame atomic absorption spectrometry, it extends the analytic range and offers good precision and accuracy. The relative standard deviation is 2.39% and the rate of recovery is 92.46%.
