[Dental care for handicapped child]. 1976

M Waurick

The stomatological care of the disabled child is a part of the overall medical treatment. According to the primary disease, it should be integrated into the step program of systematically pursued paedodontics be means of appropriate prophylactic, therapeutic and metaphylactic measures. Close co-operation of the specialties involved is necessary, the choice of the measures to be taken depends upon the kind and the severity of the disability.
