Many postage stamps illustrate themes, persons, or topics with rheumatologic connections. Examples include scientists from related disciplines, victims of rheumatic diseases, drugs used for arthritis, and stamps commemorating events such as World Rheumatism Year. A brief orientation to postage stamps and philately is given, and a small collection of rheumatologically related stamps is illustrated.
