[The effect of anesthetics on cardiovascular reactivity to isoprenaline in rats]. 1977

C Dupont, and J Wépierre

Compared study was performed in rats under chloral or urethanne anaesthesia after venous infusion of isoproterenol. Cardiovascular haemodynamics and capillary regional blood flows of digestive tract showed changes; cardiac output was increased only under chloral anaesthesia; nutritional flows were different according to anaesthesia.

D002986 Clinical Trials as Topic Works about pre-planned studies of the safety, efficacy, or optimum dosage schedule (if appropriate) of one or more diagnostic, therapeutic, or prophylactic drugs, devices, or techniques selected according to predetermined criteria of eligibility and observed for predefined evidence of favorable and unfavorable effects. This concept includes clinical trials conducted both in the U.S. and in other countries. Clinical Trial as Topic
D004064 Digestive System A group of organs stretching from the MOUTH to the ANUS, serving to breakdown foods, assimilate nutrients, and eliminate waste.
