[Umbilical cord compression by an amnionic band]. 1992

A case report is given from personal observations of an intrauterine death due to constriction of the umbilical cord by amniotic band. Previously reported cases and current hypotheses for the etiology of amniotic band are reviewed and merit clinical attention.
