[Limb lengthening with epiphyseal and callus distraction using the Wiesbaden ring fixator]. 1992

Treatment of unequal leg-length can either be operative or conservative. The historical development and devices for ring fixation are discussed. The surgical technique is described in detail along with the post-operative care in cases of epiphyseal distraction and callus distraction with a ring fixator. The article closes with the advantages of the method and its possible complications.
