The effect of low temperatures on the viability of Ehrlich ascites tumor cells. 1979

By using rapid freezing-rapid thawing procedures on Ehrlich ascites tumor cells the authors succeeded in maintaining the viability of these cells, ascertained by two methods: a) trypan blue dye-exclusion test, and b) grafting in experimental animals of cells maintained for three days at -80 degrees C.
