ACI stenosis is an important and well treatable cause for ischemic stroke. Focussed on ultrasound techniques, morphologic and hemodynamic criteria for stenoses are demonstrated. The different terminologies are discussed. Contrast-enhanced power Doppler and B-flow are considered as well.
