[Spontaneous rupture of a pancreatic pseudocyst into the descending colon]. 2006

A 50-year-old male with nausea and upper abdominal pain was hospitalised. After five days, lower gastrointestinal bleeding occurred. Computed tomography (CT) revealed a pancreatic pseudocyst. Coloscopic biopsy indicated fistulisation of a pancreatic pseudocyst into the descending colon. The patient was successfully treated nonoperatively, using only antibiotics.
