O M Gorbunov, and Iu Iu Belokopytov

On the basis of comparative analysis of the results of treatment of 201 patient with diabetes mellitus and purulent wounds of the soft tissues (conventional methods of treatment were employed in 66, with local use of the Baliz-2 preparation--in 82, use of the Baliz-2 preparation with simultaneous performance of transplantation of the pancreatic islet cells of the newborn pigs--in 53), a high effectiveness of influence upon the reparative processes of an organism of the pancreatic islet cells culture xenotransplantation has been proved. The action of a transplant retains after healing of the purulent wounds.
