[Diagnostic value of bronchoalveolar lavage fluid examination in various interstitial lung diseases]. 1991

The results of 229 routine BAL examinations in patients with different interstitial lung diseases are presented. The authors analyse the diagnostic usefulness of BAL in the differential diagnosis in interstitial lung diseases. It seems that BAL is helpful in making a specific diagnosis of interstitial lung disease.
