[Changes in the phase structure of the left ventricle systole in patients with obliterative atherosclerosis of the lower extremities after treatment with naphthalane baths]. 1991

S A Gulieva, and T G Guseĭnov

Fifty six patients with IHD and stenocardia, hypertensive disease were treated at the Naphthalan health resort. It was found that napthalane baths in the sitting position stimulate adaptation reserves of the body, improve the cardiac function, systemic and regional hemodynamics and may be used in the complex treatment of patients with obliterative atherosclerosis of the lower extremities including association of this disease with IHD and hypertension.
