True idiopathic precocious puberty presenting at six months of age; a case report. 1991

A two-year-old patient is presented with the diagnosis of idiopathic precocious puberty. She started to menstruate at the age of 6 months. This appears to be the youngest patient published in the literature. (Cacciari L, Fejaville E, Cicognani A et al. (1983) J Pediatr 102, 357). The importance of excluding central nervous pathology is emphasized and the management described.
