Precision attachment-retained gingival veneers for fixed implant prostheses. 1991

Parel et al. described a gingival veneer to provide additional support to the lower lip for patients with fixed implant prostheses. This article provides an alternate method that incorporates a precision attachment for increased support and retention of the gingival veneer. The procedure involves early recognition of the need for additional support and incorporation of an attachment into the definitive prosthesis framework.
