[Inverted papilloma of the bladder. Presentation of 3 cases]. 1990

The author describes three cases of inverted papilloma of the bladder. In the second case the lesion was a long pedunculated (2.5 cm) papilloma arising from prostatic urethra. Follow-up ranges from six to thirty months; no recurrence and no case of malignant degeneration was observed. Phlogosis lesions of the bladder were not seen; in one case a benign hyperplasia of the prostate was present. In all cases conservative therapy was performed.
