[Clinical use of Turganil in patients with ankylosing spondylitis]. 1990

The work shows the results of monotherapy with Turganil (600 mg daily) carried out in an open clinical testing the group of 31 patients hospitalised in the Hospital od Varazdinske Toplice. The estimation of the medication's effect, according to the examiner's opinion, was at 9 (30%) patients very good, at 12 (40%) good, at 6 (20%) satisfactory, and at 3 (10%) unchanged. The additional effects are noticed at 3 (10%) patients, by two of them as a nausea, and by one of them was recognized the transitory increase of transaminasis because of what the medication was excluded. On the basis of examining the efficiency of the medication, it could be stated actual analgesic and antiphlogistic activity followed by a slight incidence of additional effects and a good bearence.
