M A Alimardanova

As high as 28.6% of the examined 7-10-year-old pupils from Tashkent comprehensive schools were found to go in for sports. The pupils' daily motor activity was ascertained to depend on age, gender, and motor regimen: the maximum daily motor activity was noted among 8- and 9-year-old pupils; the motor activity in the boys was 5.8-12.4% higher than that in the girls; the motor activity of the children who did not go in for sports was 1.1 times lower than that in whose who did. It was established that the pupils could use the bulk of their leisure for adequate sleep and various kinds of vigorous activity when the day regimen was rationally organized.
