[Effect of thyrotropin releasing hormone on the verbal forms of mental activity in patients with alcoholism]. 1990

It has been shown that under the influence of thyrotropic releasing hormone the examinees show an improvement in the performance of the procedure of dichotic listening and memorizing 6 words in the preset order. A conclusion is made that the hormone under study produces a beneficial effect on the verbal forms of mental activity of patients suffering from alcoholism.
