Contralateral pleural effusion secondary to nonmetastatic renal cell carcinoma. 1990

We report a case of contralateral pleural effusion secondary to nonmetastatic renal cell carcinoma that resolved and did not recur after radical nephrectomy. Such effusions are not a contraindication to definitive therapy of the primary renal tumor.
