[Opisthorchiasis-related nephropathy]. 1990

G F Lapteva

An analysis of 113 cases of nephropathy that coincided chronologically with opisthorchiasis and cases of nephropathies of clearly opisthorchiasis character revealed signs of renal lesions in these patients: mixed character of the clinical aspects (association of signs of "nephritis" and "pyelonephritis" simultaneously), dyskinesia of the urinary system, a tendency to right-sided character of lesions in case of a unilateral process, involvement of the interstitium, positive effect of chloxyl therapy and progression up to development of terminal chronic renal failure with etiopathogenetic treatment.
