Klinik für Allgemeinchirurgie, Medizinische Hochschule.

For the period 1981 up to 1987 25 patients with a total of 27 decubital ulcers have been healed successfully in the II. Clinic of Surgery, Med. Faculty in Pazardzhik, and the University Clinic of Burns in Sofia. The application of myocutaneous flaps versus free skin grafts plus ulcer first covering after excision appears to have definite advantage in the treatment of such patients.
