For the purpose of developing a preventive psychohygienic programme for medical staffs, the effect of one of the variants of group psychotherapy on the removal of emotional stress among emergency care staffs were studied. It has been demonstrated that the well-known dynamic processes (in particular the transition from formal and business contacts to frank personal intercourse) open to medical personal their reactions, feelings etc. occurring in mutual contacts and in contacts with patients. Thus, this process not only helps to remove one's own stress but more effectively provide psychotherapeutic influence on patients. Different psychological methods were used. On the whole the suggested programme could be considered effective for the work with medical staffs, and it should be recommended for introduction into different medical establishments.
