[A screening study of snorers with or without sleep apnea]. 1990

There are 76 cases of snorers with or without sleep apnea by screening study using ZD2Apnea Monitor or/and Ohmeda 3700 Pulse Oximeter. It is compared with polysomonographic recording. The sensitivity and specificity of screening study are 96.4% and 95.2% respectively. The advantage and disadvantage of these two methods are evaluated. It is suggested that ZD2Apnea Monitor is a simple, useful and cheap screening test for snorers with or without sleep apnea. It is suitable to clinical use.
