Teenage mothers who accept support from the Family Nurse Partnership receive visits from a dedicated nurse on a weekly or fortnightly basis. Evidence shows that this personal service improves health outcomes and parenting skills, as well as increasing the chances of young mothers returning to education and paid employment.
