[Ghost images in rotational panoramic radiography]. 1990

Ghost images are defined as images representing structures in the object located between the x-ray source and the rotation center. Their origin may be anatomic structures as well as foreign objects. A survey is given of the principles for the appearance of ghost images, their possible combinations with real and double images, and factors governing their position and occurrence.
