Radiation-induced optic neuropathy is a rare but devastating side effect after radiation treatment. The treatment options for radiation-induced optic neuropathy have been limited and largely unsuccessful. A review of the literature was conducted to summarize the rationale and possible benefits of various treatments for radiation-induced optic neuropathy.
