A patient who changed my practice: Benzodiazepines in schizophrenia? 1997

The case of a 29-year-old man with catatonic symptoms is presented. After two attempts at treatment were unsuccessful, the symptoms faded with the use of the benxodiazepine lorazepam at an unusually high dose.
