[Precision of semiadjustable articulators]. 1989

T Reiber, and N Hille

The precision of 11 semiadjustable articulators was examined. The results indicate that for reproducible centric position it is necessary to practise centric lock. Neither guidance of the condylar element into centric relation by hand nor devices like feathers do secure against deviation. When putting usual pressure on the articulators all showed considerable differences.
