[Severe alcoholic hepatitis]. 1989

A case of severe alcoholic hepatitis was observed in a man aged 30 years. Attention is called to possible diagnostic and therapeutic difficulties. Despite abstinence lasting 9 months the results of biochemical tests failed to return to normal values.
