In the present paper after a review of the international literature about the possibilities of recording the movements of the mandible with electromechanical devices, as well as the possibilities of computers to analyse the data, we describe our own electromechanical device which gives the possibility of direct, quick and accurate recording and projection on a monitor the movements of the mandible.
