[Preliminary results for ambulatory surgery for vaginal prolapse]. 2016

OBJECTIVE From a study of 65 patients with vaginal prolapse, we studied 56 patients treated by the Elevate technic during an ambulatory hospitalisation. RESULTS Seven patients failed to the ambulatory protocol and needed to stay. Three of them for urinary retention. Eighty-eight percent of the patients were satisfied by this protocol. CONCLUSIONS This study shows the feasibility of prolapse surgery in an ambulatory settings.
