Trypsin digest of the iris. 1989

We succeeded in obtaining vascular mounts of the iris by modifying the original technique of trypsin digestion described by Kuwabara and Cogan. This was achieved by scraping the pigment epithelium, repeated bleaching, and prolonged enzymatic digestion.
