The peak latency of the slow oscillation in EOG. 1989

2nd Department of Ophthalmology, University of Vienna, Austria.

Peak latencies of the light-induced slow electrooculograph oscillations of 61 patients were analyzed. The wide range of variation of the results of the control group obtained in this study did not allow inferences relevant for the differential diagnosis of retinal diseases. Most of the data were within the limits of normal values.

UI MeSH Term Description Entries
D009991 Oscillometry The measurement of frequency or oscillation changes. Oscillometries
D004585 Electrooculography Recording of the average amplitude of the resting potential arising between the cornea and the retina in light and dark adaptation as the eyes turn a standard distance to the right and the left. The increase in potential with light adaptation is used to evaluate the condition of the retinal pigment epithelium. EOG,Electrooculograms,Electrooculogram
