[The importance of detecting prepathologic states in preventing chronic nonspecific lung diseases]. 1989

A study is presented of 863 patients with chronic unspecific pulmonary diseases (CUPD) and 2785 healthy persons and a method was worked out of detection of predisease states in which stages may be singled out; initial health state with risk factors--threatening period--premorbid state--prenosological condition. From the viewpoint of these factors a prognostic model of CUPD in healthy persons is designed.
