Comparison of immune response in Swiss albino mice due to single and repeated doses of infective Ancylostoma caninum larvae after subcutaneous inoculation. 1989

Migratory behaviour of Ancylostoma caninum larvae and host responses were studied in four groups of Swiss albino mice infected subcutaneously with single doses of 1,000, 2,000 and multiple doses of 500 + 500, 500 + 500 + 1,000. After the 1st day most of the larvae found in muscles in all the groups. There is no significant difference in the migratory behaviour and/or the adoptive pattern of larvae in both the singly and multiply infected animals.
